Art- Finishing Scrapbooks/Posterboards of Photography Unit. All grades are due Friday, June 18.

Science- finished Optics, Review was due Wednesday, June 16, Made pinhole cameras on Wednesday.

May 31, June 2, 4

Science 8- started Optics unit. Remember if you get your test signed by a parent/guardian and bring it back to me you get an extra mark.

Art- Photography lessons are completed, we are now working on our scrapbooks. Make sure you remember to bring me your pictures to get developed or develop them yourselves and keep your receipts. Its pretty hard to make a scrapbook with no pictures...:)

May 27

Art- 8I and 9O pictures are due today. 9's will start glazing their clay and as they finish starting their scrapbooks. 8I's will start their scrapbooks on Monday. All other Art classes pictures are due Friday, June 4th.

Science 8- Started Optics unit. Got tests back. Reminder 8I if you get them signed by your parents then you will receive a bonus mark. 8M will get their tests back Monday to take home and get signed.

May 17, 19

Art- continue taking pictures. I will be letting classes know when there pictures are due to me soon.

Science 8- finished the review on Monday and had a unit test on Wednesday. Tests marks will be given back next week.

May 11, 13

Art- Continue with photography, start downloading your pictures onto the laptop as you take them.

Science 8- Review due on Monday, May 17, Science Test on Fluids Wednesday, May 19.

May 3, 5, 7

Art Classes- We started our photography unit this week. Thanks to all who have remembered to bring your cameras! Please continue to do so and happy shooting!

Science 8- hydraulics and pneumatics will finish up this week...look for a test coming in the next two weeks. More info on that Friday.

Science 8- We looked at Density and Fluids today, did a short experiment with rice and rice crispies to see how volume and mass affect density. We will continue ques 1-3 on Wednesday.

Art7L- Started clay.
Art7C- Glazed clay.

Art 8- Pattern art.

Tuesday, March 9

Science 8- Work period today to finish "Check your progress" and honeycomb assignment. They were both due today.

Art 7C- We fired your clay today and they will be ready to glaze on Thursday!
Art 7L- We will start your clay project on Thursday.

Art 8- Started Pattern Art.

Art 9- Finishing tile art, we will start our next project which is a jungle picture soon.

Friday, March 5

Science 8- Worked on "Check Your Progress" worksheet, you will have class time Tuesday, March 9 to finish this as well as the honey comb assignment. It is due at the end of Tuesday's class.

Art 8 - Crochetting

Art 7C- We will be starting a new project on Thursday, March 11 called pattern art.

Art 7L- We will be starting our clay projects on Thursday, March 11.

Art 9- We are finishing up our collage tiles next week then will be starting a new project.

All art- continue crochetting throughout the rest of the term as time permits. Final projects of your choice are not due to me until the end of the year, so make them good ones!

Science 8

Monday we completed our experiment. Everyone did an awsome job contributing and coming up with the procedure.
Wednesday we will be doing the experiment as a class.
Just a reminder that you honeycomb vocabulary assignments are due next Tues, Mar. 9.
